Julia is managing the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's community of governments and cities, supporting their commitment and transition efforts towards the circular economy. Julia joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation over 2 years ago and has been working with the Foundation's philanthropic funders and Global Partners in shaping their strategic thinking on the circular economy in urban transition and innovation. Previously, she has worked in the field of circular economy in business sustainability at the Worldwatch Institute and Deloitte. Julia holds an MA degree in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Iceland, and a BA in Political Science from the Hebrew University.
