Il progetto europeo DIVE – Diverse Societies and Digital Participation è giunto al suo ottavo mese di attuazione, essendo iniziato alla fine di maggio 2025. L’iniziativa, della durata di 28 mesi, riunisce partner provenienti da Germania, Paesi Bassi, Slovenia, Italia e Portogallo per rafforzare il lavoro giovanile (youth work) nelle comunità multiculturali e potenziare la collaborazione digitale.
Coordinata da Via Kreaktion (Germania), la partnership include Stichting Dar al Yasmin (Paesi Bassi), ISZ – Institute Center for Advocacy (Slovenia), il Consiglio Italiano del Movimento Europeo (Italia) e la Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa – Delegação de Cucujães (Portogallo).
Obiettivi del progetto
- Fornire agli operatori giovanili competenze digitali e strumenti innovativi per rispondere ai bisogni dei giovani in società diversificate.
- Promuovere la tolleranza, la diversità e l’impegno civico attraverso l’educazione non formale e le risorse digitali.
- Rafforzare la cooperazione tra istituzioni giovanili, educative e pubbliche.
- Sensibilizzare ai valori europei e incoraggiare la partecipazione attiva in comunità inclusive.
Progressi finora
Nei primi otto mesi, il progetto ha completato con successo:
- La produzione dei primi moduli di apprendimento su migrazione, diversità e partecipazione digitale.
- Il primo ciclo di tavole rotonde con le parti interessate, coinvolgendo attori locali, educatori e decisori politici.
- L’avvio dei preparativi per la prossima formazione dei formatori (ToT) nei Paesi Bassi.
- Lo sviluppo di casi di studio per supportare l’applicazione pratica degli strumenti e delle metodologie del progetto.
Prossimi passi
Nei prossimi mesi, DIVE continuerà a implementare attività pilota utilizzando strumenti digitali, amplierà la piattaforma di risorse con materiali didattici, finalizzerà i casi di studio e condurrà ulteriori formazioni interculturali e digitali per gli operatori giovanili. La partnership proseguirà inoltre nell’organizzazione di tavole rotonde ed eventi pubblici per condividere i risultati, promuovere le migliori pratiche e rafforzare la cooperazione intersettoriale.
Impatto previsto
DIVE darà agli operatori giovanili i mezzi necessari per supportare i giovani, con o senza background migratorio, favorendo la comprensione interculturale, le competenze digitali e l’impegno civico. Il progetto creerà inoltre sinergie durature tra gli attori locali e contribuirà a rendere le comunità in tutta Europa più inclusive, tolleranti e pronte alla sfida digitale.

DIVERSE SOCIETIES AND DIGITAL PARTICIPATION: STRENGTHENING YOUTH WORK ACROSS EUROPE
The European project DIVE – Diverse Societies and Digital Participation is now in its eighth month of implementation, having started at the end of May 2025. The 28-month initiative brings together partners from Germany, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Italy, and Portugal to strengthen youth work in diverse communities and enhance digital collaboration.

Project objectives
– Equip youth workers with digital skills and innovative tools to address the needs of young people in diverse societies.
– Promote tolerance, diversity, and civic engagement through non-formal education and digital resources.
– Strengthen cooperation between youth, educational, and public institutions.
– Raise awareness of European values and encourage active participation in inclusive communities.
Progress so far
In the first eight months, the project has successfully:
- Produced the first learning modules on migration, diversity, and digital participation.
- Completed the first round of stakeholder round tables, engaging local actors, educators, and decision-makers.
- Begun preparing for the upcoming Training of Trainers (ToT) in the Netherlands.
- Started developing case studies to support practical application of the project’s tools and methodologies.
Next Steps
Over the coming months, DIVE will continue to implement pilot activities using digital tools, expand the resource platform with teaching materials, finalize case studies, and conduct further intercultural and digital training for youth workers. The partnership will also continue organizing round tables and public events to share results, promote best practices, and strengthen cross-sector cooperation.
Expected Impact
DIVE will empower youth workers to support young people with and without a migrant background, fostering intercultural understanding, digital skills, and civic engagement. The project will also create lasting synergies among local actors and contribute to more inclusive, tolerant, and digitally ready communities across Europe.
